Q.2 Does Inline Nurseries ship outside of Canada?
Yes, many of our customers are in the United States. We provide competitive freight rates to your location whether you are in Canada or the USA. Our policy is to provide, prompt, reliable and hassle free shipping, anywhere in North America.
Q.3 How much is the freight going to cost?
Since Freight rates vary throughout the year, it is best to contact us for a quote. We are able to ship partial loads for smaller orders. To calculate the freight cost for your order, please call our Shipping Department at 1.888.846.5463 or email at shipping@inlinenurseries.com.
Q.4 How many days before the order needs to ship must I place my order?
We prefer a minimum of 1 week notice to provide ample time to pull the order and coordinate the transportation and paperwork. During peak shipping seasons, the minimum turnaround time is 3 business days from the time the order is received. This may vary somewhat with the type of product you are ordering.
Q.5 How many days will my order be in transport?
This time may vary depending on where you are located but here are some approximate times to give you an idea:
For Western USA, 0-2 days.
For the Central US and Canada, typically 3-4 days.
For Eastern Canada and USA, typically 5-7 days.
Q.6 How many Trees/Plants will fit on a truck?
Typically, the greatest restriction on the number of trees that can fit on a truck is the weight. Because of the variance in weight and size for the different varieties, please contact our Shipping Department by phone (1.888.846.5463) or email shipping@inlinenurseries.com for an accurate calculation on your order.
Q.7 Who arranges the trucking?
Inline has established relationships with trucking companies which make it easy for us to take care of ordering the truck(s) for you. But if you prefer to take care of the transportation yourself, we will gladly work with you on this as well.
Q.8 Who is responsible for the paperwork?
Unless otherwise noted, we will typically take care of all the paper work required to transport products to your location, including inspections, brokerage and customs.
Q.9 What about Inspections, brokerage and customs for Shipping to the US?
We arrange all the required inspections for products leaving Canada to certify that they are free of contaminants. We look after all brokerages, duties, and customs items making for worry free transport to your location.
